ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Ranked Among Global MBA Programs

VALDOSTA – The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA is one of 2016’s top ranking Global MBA Programs, according to CEO Magazine.

Valdosta State University is one of six University System of ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ institutions of higher education that offer the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA. The others are Columbus State University, ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ College and State University, ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Southern University, Kennesaw State University, and the University of West ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ.

The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA was ranked No. 12 among CEO Magazine’s Global MBA rankings.

“This ranking just confirms the high quality of our programs at the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration (LCOBA),” said Dr. Wayne Plumly, dean of the LCOBA. “The personal touch that we give our students is translated into outstanding student learning outcomes. Their investment in their education at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ allows them to remove job barriers and to fulfill their career goals.”

In 2012, CEO Magazine launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling the MBA programs of more than 300 business schools across North America, Europe, and Australia and ranking them based on key performance indicators — international diversity, class sizes, tuition fees, faculty, delivery methods, gender make-up, return on investment, and the learning environment — that are considered to be of interest and value to potential students.

“The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA consortium is unique in that all six universities are Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Businesses accredited. Less than five percent of all business schools worldwide have this prestigious accreditation,” said Plumly. “I would sum the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA up in two words — quality and results.”

To participate in the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA, students must have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of professional business experience. The curriculum consists of 10 courses focused on areas of business, including accounting, strategic marketing, and entrepreneurship. The 30-hour, non-thesis program is designed to be completed in five consecutive semesters. Courses are taught by full-time graduate faculty from the USG institutions associated with the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA program.

The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA program was also recently recognized by Online MBA Report, an online source that organizes more than 300 colleges in the United States that offer online MBA programs by type, concentration, value, academic reputation, and more. The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ WebMBA program ranked No. 24 in the Top 50 Online MBA Programs in the United States, No. 20 in the Top 25 Public Online MBA Programs, and No. 8 in the Top 20 Online MBA Programs in the South.
