Valdosta State University to Hold Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Pageant on Nov. 3

VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University will host the Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Pageant at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, in Whitehead Auditorium. Miss Valdosta State University is an ambassador and public relations representative of Valdosta State University, the Children’s Miracle Network, the Miss America Organization and for her chosen platform.

This is the first year since 2008 that ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ has had a Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ pageant and the first year since 2006 that the pageant has been a preliminary for Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ.

The tickets are being sold at the Student Life office and Event Services. They are $5 for students and children and $10 for adults. A total of 13 contestants will participate in the pageant, and the winner will go on to compete in Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ in June 2013.

Some of the many qualities of Miss ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓÆµ include a proven achiever at Valdosta State University and in her personal life, a role model who inspires others and relates well to people of all ages and compassionate and outgoing as well as cooperative, flexible and punctual.
