ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ gets new Director of Internal Auditing
Valdosta State University's search for a new Director of
Internal Auditing ended with the appointment of Jeanne Severns to
the position. Severns, a ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ graduate, officially filled the
position effective July 1, 2005.
As the Director of Internal Auditing, Severns is responsible for
the audits of all activities of ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ. Severns has over 20 years of
accounting and management experience and most recently worked as a
public accountant at Ambling Company before coming back to join the
executive administration at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ.
Severns received her BBA in 1984 and MBA in accounting in 2003,
when she was voted ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ's Outstanding MBA Student for 2003. Severns
replaced William Bennett Jr. who recently retired.
